March 6: Don Orazem presents the director of the Blood Bank of Humboldt County, Tom Shallot.  He is a past president of the Eureka Rotary Club and will give a presentation of the challenges getting blood donations in this economy as well as a joint Rotary project with  a blood bank in Nigeria.

October 25: Shon Wellborn presents Nat Bush, Store Manager at Shop Smart in Redway, a vocational program.  He’ll be answering the age old question:  Why do you put the dog food THERE and not over there?

December 14th: Kelly Larson highlighting The Building Creative Communities Conference in Georgia,Colquitt, GA at the beginning of February 2011 . For three days experts from Georgia and around the country will present workshops on preforming arts, grant writing and fundraising, and building community resiliency. With plans to renovate the Old Theater in Garberville, this workshop is very relevant those community members who are part of the steering committee overseeing this process. Kelly is looking to build more community interest around the cause to go to Georgia in order to bring the insights and energy from there to here. Presented by Herb Schwartz.
